His postdoctoral research examines challenges and opportunities to enhance\u00a0<b>climate action through international trade and investment law<\/b>, with a specific focus on the promotion of\u00a0<b>renewable energy<\/b>. In 2021, Alessandro completed his PhD (double degree), at the University of Innsbruck (Austria) and Padova (Italy). For his doctoral thesis,\u00a0<i>The Mutual Supportiveness of International Climate and Trade Law for the Promotion of Renewable Energy<\/i>\u00a0(forthcoming 2022), he has been awarded the Herbert Tumpel prize by the Austrian Theodor K\u00f6rner-Fonds. Prior to his PhD, he obtained a Master in law (<i>Magister iuris<\/i>) at the University of Innsbruck and he worked as judicial clerk at the Court of Innsbruck, and as an assistant attorney in two Italian law firms.
